Bruce Campbell, the ever-famous B-Movie actor (Army of Darkness, Evil Dead II, Burn Notice) hosted a film/book tour and my home-town was on the list of his hot spots. I was selected to generate the cover piece for his welcoming section in the paper's "TimeOut" entertainment magazine. This work is a combination of several of his works, including stills from Army of Darkness and Xena: Warrior Princess. I selected the title of "From Out of the Darkness, Comes a King" in honor of Bruce's trademark "Hail to the King, baby" catchphrase from his Army of Darkness film, using that particular tie-in as an obvious connecting point.
