Printing
Instructions for Windows Computers
Before printing
a document, be sure that there is at least a .25 inch boarder around
your pagewhere no part of your design exists, as well as along folded
edges and center lines (Use the rulers and guides in Photoshop and/or
Illustrator to double check). This area is known as the "non
printable area."
- Save your
document as an Adobe PDF document. DO
NOT PRINT FROM ILLUSTRATOR OR PHOTOSHOP.
- You must
select the proper printers in Windows Control Panel
- Set the
"Default Printer" to the appropriate IP address.
- Color
Prints:
Xerox Phaser 7760
- Mylar
Prints: HP 5000N (PRINTING
MYLAR SHEETS IS ONLY TO BE DONE ON THE HP 5000N. DO NOT
USE MYLAR IN THE XEROX PHASER 7760 PRINTER. MYLAR SHEETS
WILL MELT AND DESTROY THE XEROX!)
- Digital
Duplicator: 10.10.20.249
- Depending
on what size paper you want to print on, you must change the
settings of Adobe Acrobat's Print Preferences dialogue box.
- US
Letter for 8.5" x 11" (aka: a normal sheet of
paper)
- Tabloid
for 11" x 17" (aka: a long sheet of paper, or
the "Big Paper" to some)
- Open your
PDF document in Adobe Acrobat. (You
must change the printer settings before you open Acrobat.
Otherwise,
your printer settings will not take effect).
In the Print Dialogue Box, be sure to set "Page Scaling"
to "None"Make sure "Collate" is unchecked
- Print.
- Collect
your print out from the printer.
