Assignment, Quiz, and Exam Instructions

There is to be no talking during exams or quizzes. Talking during these periods will result in an automatic “0%”.

Discussion during classroom asignments (Yellow Book Questions) is allowed.

You are not to use the Internet during exams or quizes. The computers are monitored to ensure exam integrity. If the Internet is accessed during the exam or quiz, the resulting grade will be an automatic 0%

*It is not advisable to use search engines or Wikipedia to find your answers to the Yellow Communication Book questions, as they most likely will not coincide with the questions/answer relation from the book.

1. Check to see if the “Test 2” folder is mapped to your “My Computer”

2. If the “Test 2” folder does not show up in My Computer, go to “Tools” on the menu bar (at the top) and select “Map Network Drive”

3. Select “Drive Z” as the drive letter

4. In the folder box, select “Browse

a. Select “My Network Places
b. Select “Entire Network”
c. Select “Microsoft Windows Network
d. Select “Morton 709
e. Select “MHS-1G-01”
f. Select “Tests2”

5. Click on the “Okay” button

6. Click on the “Finish” button

7. Close both “My Computer” windows

8. Open “Exam View Player” (Located in C:\ExamView\EVPlay.exe)

9. Enter your name (for example: “Christopher Garner”

10. Enter your student ID – which is your first initial with last name(for example: “cgarner”)

11. Click “Next”

12. There is a small folder at the bottom of this window. Click on it and navigate to the “Test2 on Mhs-1g-01” (Z:)” drive

13. The appropriate test for you should pop up in the above list

14. Select your assignment, quiz, or exam

15. Select “Next”

16. The password will vary depending on the class you are in.

Communications: "comm"

Graphic Design: "design"

Production Printing: "print"

17. Answer all exam/quiz questions and complete any essay portions of the exam

18. (Final Exam Only!) When you have completed the exam or quiz, you may surf the Internet, study for another exam, listen to music (with headphones, ear buds, etc.) or anything that will keep you quiet until all students have completed the exam.
